WHY ALLAINCE AGAINST NAWAZ GOVT?

A BIG ZERO...?

Time has changed in last 12 years, it really changed and changed toward Pakistan Awami Tehrik chief Mr.Tahir ul Qadri.I recalled all this after watching pictures on televisions sitting Chaudhary Brothers with Dr.Tahir ul Qadri in London.That can be discussed whether Mr, Qadri gained in last 12 years that Chaudhary brothers went London to meet him or choudhary brothers lost so that they are compel to shake hand with Qadri for their political survival in Pakistan. There might be other aspect as well that both are trying to pull agenda of some one else against Sharief Govt as hate of both Qadri and Chaudharies against shariefs is an open truth. It might be mare a co incidence that right after one year of Nawaz Govt all players who hate Shariefs are on same page and drawing movement against Govt on election rigging.

If i look 12 years back, i can see Mr Qadri striving to get share in Govt going to set up under the Musharraf Uniform via Chaudhary Brothers in return of Supporting Musharraf Reggie and his referendum like Imran Khan.I know much things because i was the media manager of Mr. Anwaar Alvi, that time secretory general of Pakistan Awami tehrik (PAT).

It was the time when Musharraf was preparing to conduct elections in 2002 and Chaudhary Brothers was on driving seat.Chaudhary Brothers was delegated political front by Gen Pervaiz Musharraf and they had all powers to make adjustments and giving fruits to those who well com Martial Law of Pervaiz Musharraf.Tahir ul Qadri was also asked to contact Chaudharies for his share in up coming elections.Mr.Anwaar Alvi was the negotiator.He visited several time to Chaudharies residence on Zahoor Elahi road in Lahore and i was accompanied few of them.PAT was willing to take big share and demanded 40 seats in general elections of 2002.Chaudharies were laughing to hear this figure and was agreed to give only one seat of Tahir ul Qadri like Imran Khan, finally both got one and one.It was very tough situation for PAT and Mr Alvi exchanged few harsh words while in meeting with Chaudhary Shujaat and Pervaiz Ilahi and said they will talk to General (Pervaiz Musharraf). Chaudhary Shujaat asked him to do what they want but its final that Tahir ul Qadri will get his seat only.

After this Tahir ul Qadri decided to brought this matter in front of General and called him to fix the meeting. Meanwhile Chaudhries shared minutes of PAT meetings with Pervaiz Musharraf. Story of meeting with Pervaiz Musharraf narrate himself by Tahir ul Qadri to his workers at the time he tendered his resignation from National Assembly. Mr Qadri stated that Genreal Musharraf offered the same what Chaudharies were offering and that was one NA seat.General said "Its final you will get one NA seat.Its your choice whether contest from Jhang or Lahore" Qadri said to General if your decision is similar to Chaudharies then i will contest myself and win my seat from where i want,(as Qadri told to his workers himself)

That was the end  of Mush Qadri Relations that time as Qadri stated. After that PAT contested Elections.Mr Qadri was was candidate from three constituencies Jhang, Lahore and Gujjar Khan. Mr Qadri got success from NA 127 Lahore and reached in National assembly for the first time and as Chaudharies Said no other candidate of PAT succeeded through out the country and same was the result for PTI.

Chaudharies got all out success in 2002 election as per plan and Chaudhary pervaiz become Chief Minister Punjab for the first time.It is also interesting that Tahirul Qadri gave his vote to Mr Jamali to become Prime minister of the country and all know Jamali was the prime mister of only one vote.Mr. Qadri as well as assassinated LeJ Chief Azam Tariq clams to cast the winner vote.Mr Qadri remain in assembly only for 2 years and resigned from its membership and departed to Canada where he is living now a days.Chaudhary Brothers enjoyed power for complete five years under the umbrella of Gen Musharraf.

Chaudharies Party PMLQ met with defeat in general elections held in Feb 2008. PMLN came into power in Punjab and PPP in center while Chaudhary shujaat could not win his seat even from Gujrat.Ch pervaiz Ilahi remain in assembly but as silent player.PMLQ plunged more in 2013 elections and all who enjoyed the power with Chaudhary brothers departed one by one and right after 12 years PMLQ is no more relevant in Pakistani politics. It seems that Chadhary Brothers are fighting for their survival and they went to London to meet that person (Qadri) one day they don't even ready to well come. Both Qadri and chaudharies agreed on 10 point agenda to form alliance against sitting Govt,for that Mr. Qadri will return to Pakistan at end of June and then  Pakistan might witness the same movement as in 1997 started under the alliance of Pakistan Awami Ittahad (PAI). Dr Tahir ul Qadri was made first president of PAI in presence of PPP chairperson Benazir bhutto and lagendory Nawabzada Nasrullah Khan.This allaince played a major role to create hate against Nawaz Govt in 1998 and finally Gen Musharraf took over in 1999.Mr, Qadri well come Pervaiz musharraf and sponsored his referendum.

Prime minster Nawaz  mentioned in his speech on 31st May while addressing in Nandi Pur power project, Qadri and Imran Khan to asked them to not to protest and be part of Pakistan,s development, on other hand Ministers of Govt have a view that Chaudharies and Qadri are Big Zero and they will make Imran Khan Zero as well.At the moment Imran khan did not met with Qadri and Chaudharies in London but it is possible they all join the same train in near future where Shaik Rasheed is waiting .It would be interesting to witness Whether Chaudharies make Imran Khan a BIG Zero or these Zeros send Shariefs back to Raiwend.

A Big Blow To TTP

Pakistani government’s counter terrorism strategy”Talk Talk Fight Fight”  met success on Wednesday when Mehsood group separated itself from Tehreek-e- Taliban Pakistan (TTP). Mehsood group spokesperson and shura member of TTP Azam Tariq addressed a press conference in North Waziristan and announce “Mehsood group is separating itself from TTP”. Azam Tariq while addressing press conference placed severe allegations of extortion and many other wrongdoings on TTP.

This announcement came a day after Army chief Gen Raheel Sharief visit North Waziristan’s battle front where COAS buck up his combating soldiers and said terrorists being surrounded by Pak Army Jawans and said the nations rejected the extremist’s philosophy.

Differences erupt in TTP right after death of TTP chief Hakeem Ullah mehsood when first time TTP chief selected outside mehsood,s tribe. New TTP chief Mullah Faza Lullah tried to bridge the differences but failed to make any settlement.

Peace talks initiative by Govt fuel the prevailing situation among TTP factions. TTP mehsood tribes supporting peace talks because they are displaced due to operation an agency while TTP chief and Momand faction opposing talks. Mehsood’s had a view that all those opposing talks are not facing the consequences as they are all including Mullah Fazal is hiding in Afghanistan’ noorastan and kunnar provinces and all mehsoods are leading IDP s life in Tribal areas.

Govt was actually negotiating majorly with mehsood tribe and convinced them to not to fight against Pak Army and be part of talks to bring peace in region. Mehsood elders agreed with Govt and tried to convince TTP leadership but failed. The ongoing clashed between TTP groups in Waziristan was the result of the same conflict.

Removal of Mehsood chief Khan said sajna fired up the whole tribe and strong resentment was seen in agency against Mullah Faz Lullah. Khan refused to obey the order that was big blow to TTP and its chief as well.

Now I think peace process will carry forward with mehsoods and peace will prevail in NWA and fight and operation will be launched against other splinter groups of TTP and Govt might bring them on table by force.     

OUT COME OF NAWAZ MODI MEETING

"You are a man of Peace" these remarks by Mr Narendra Damodardas Modi might be satisfactory for Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz sharief, but definitely not the solution of Pak India long lasting issues indeed. Mr Sharief,s decisions to go to India to attend oath taking ceremony was overwhelmingly appreciated by all political figures in Pakistan,but now after meeting with Modi, feeling of disappointment is much deepen as Mr. Sharief not even given statement to satisfy ego of Pakistani peoples,talking in Taj Hotel new Delhi after meeting with Mr. Modi.

On other hand Indian media reports that Indian PM discussed 5 point agenda with Nawaz Sharief,Although these five point was actually One point and that was"What Pakistan did to stop terrorism and trail of Mumbai attacks culprits"

That demand was very much expected from Modi, but at the same time Pakistani people were expecting discussion on issues like Kashmir and Water especially.Pakistani viewpoint is seem absent in this meeting as Media briefing by PM Nawaz after meeting Modi was missing the word Kashmir, and not allowing the questions by media deepen this conspiracy that Nawaz could get nothing from India.At the same time Press briefing by Indian Foreign secretary Mrs Sujata singh narrates much that the issue of terrorism was dominant in Modi Nawaz Meeting.

No doubt Mr sharief was given extra attention in India. He ( Nawaz) was looking very much excited when he reached Haider abad house in Delhi to meet Mr Modi at 12pm Tuesday,wearing black suit and red necktie,was warmly welcomed by Indian PM and shake hand for almost 26 second long.Mr modi himself Swas looking very excited and warm to receive Mr sharief, but after 50 minutes the game was changed and Mr Nawaz face was telling the story,excitement was left inside haider abad house and dry face of Nawaz was seen when he was not seen off by Modi and FM Shashma Suraaj was showing him the way to go back. Mr sharief did not even payed attention to media camera covering him outside the meeting place.
It is mysterious that whether Mr Sharief did not discussed Pakistan,s  problems with Modi or Mr Nawaz did think that could not be stated in front of media.

Mr Nawaz focused in his media statement on Pak inida trade and bring himself back in 1998 when Mr Vajpai visited Lahore. This question was remain unanswered even in India foreign secretary s media briefing that what Nawaz said on Indian 5 points agenda and Mrs Sujata singh left this question unattended by saying" i could not narrate what is discussed in meeting"

Mian Nawaz,s decesion to visit Delhi was considered a smarter move to show the sincerity that Pakistan has to bring peace in region,but if the gain of this YATRA is only to receive title" the man of Peace" is not enough i think.

NAWAZ WILL WITNESS MODI OATH

بھارت یاترا۔۔نوازشریف کا بہترفیصلہ

وزیراعظم نوازشریف نے وہی فیصلہ کیا جو ان سے توقع تھی،انہوں نے نومنتخب بھارتی وزیر اعظم نریندر مودی کی تقریب حلف برداریمیں شرکت کی دعوت قبول کرتے ہوئے 26مئی کو بھارت جانے کا فیصلہ کیا ہے۔ان کے ساتھ وزارت خارجہ میں ان کے دو مشیر سرتاج عزیز اور طارق فاطمی بھی بھارت جائیں گے۔

نوازشریف کے اس فیصلے پر ملک میں بالکل اسی طرح کا رد عمل سامنے آرہا ہے جس طرح کی توقع کا اظہار میں نے اسی بلاگ میں ایک رات پہلے پہلے لکھے گئے مضمون میں کیا تھا۔

جماعة الدعوة کے سربراہ جناب حافظ محمد سعید کراچی پہنچے تو ایئرپورٹ پر میڈیا سے گفتگو میں انہوں نے اپنے ردعمل کا اظہار شدید الفاظ میں کیا انہوں نے کہا کہ نوازشریف کا بھارت جانے کا فیصلہ پاکستانی عوام کی امنگوں کا ترجمان ہرگزنہیں ہے ۔حافظ سعید جو پاکستان اور دنیا بھر میں اپنے بھارت مخالف سخت مؤقف کی وجہ سے جانے جاتے ہیں نے کہا کہ سب جانتے ہیں کہ بھارت سے دوستی پاکستان کے مفاد میں ہرگز نہیں ہے ،مودی مسلمانوں کا قاتل ہے اور اس الیکشن میں کشمیری عوام نے بھی ان کے خلاف فیصلہ دیا ہے۔

جمیعت علمائے اسلام کے سربراہ مولانا فضل الرحمان جو نپے تلے الفاظ چن کر بولنے کے عادی ہیں انہوں نے نوازشریف کے بھارت جانے پر بھی نپی تلی بات ہی کی ۔مولانا فضل الرحمان نے کہا کہ نوازشریف کی طرف سے دعوت قبول کرنا ایک اچھا مثبت اشارہ ہے لیکن بھارت سے تعلقات میں نریندر مودی کا مستقبل کا رویہ بہت اہمیت رکھتا ہے جس کو مد نظر رکھتے ہوئے پاکستان کو آگے کے فیصلے کرناہوں گے۔

بھارت کے مخالف سمجھے والے سیاستدان شیخ رشید احمد نے بھی نوازشریف کی بھارت یاترہ کی مخالفت کی ہے انہوں نے ۔کہاکہ نوازشریف کا بھارت جانا خطے میں بھارت کی بالادستی تسلیم کرنے کے مترادف ہے ۔

دفاعی تجزیہ کار جناب لیفٹیننٹ جنرل (ر)طلعت مسعود نے اس فیصلے کو اچھی سفارتکاری قراردیا۔ ان کا خیال ہے کہ پاکستان کو اس موقع سے فائدہ اٹھانا چاہیئے تھا جو اس فیصلے سے مثبت ثابت ہورہا ہے۔

 ایک اور معتدل مذہبی رہنما مولانا طاہر اشرف نے دورہ بھارت کی حمایت کرتے ہوئے اس اقدام کو اقوام عالم میں پاکستان کی حمایت قراردیا۔انہوں نے کہا کہ اس طرح نوازشریف کو مودی کے خیالات جاننے کا موقع ملے گا۔

قومی اسمبلی میں اپوزیشن لیڈراور پی پیپلزپارٹی کے رہنما سید خورشید شاہ نے بھی نوازشریف کے اس اقدام کی حمایت کی ہے ۔ان کا کہناہے کہ دورہ دونوں ملکوں کے مفاد میں ہے۔

یہ سب آرا اپنی اپنی جگہ درست ہیں کہ بھارت کے حوالے سے پاکستان میں اسی طرح کے ملے جلے خیالات پائے جاتے ہیں۔یہ بات اپنی جگہ حقیقت ہے کہ نوازشریف نے ایک ڈیموکریٹ کی طرح بہتر فیصلہ کیا ہے ۔

SHOULD NAWAZ HONOR MODI?

SMART MOVE NEED SMARTER

India, lead by newly elected Prime Minister Nrendra Modi played a smart move by inviting SAARC contries head of states to witness his oath ceremony. Pakistani prime minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharief is between the deep and the devil see after receiving this invitation . Till now Govt could not decide weather accept the invitation and witness the occasion or turned it down. PM Nawaz seek advice from ministry of foreign affairs on this and according to latest information MOFA advised PM to refrain to attend the ceremony.

Day earlier Indian media reported Mr.Sharief tend to fly to India,at that time i rang up to spokesperson of Foreign office Mrs Tasneem Aslam and she replied" We received the invitation and matter is under consideration and no decision is made yet.Its too early to determine that PM is going to India or not,she added".

It is very tough situation for country like Pakistan to deal with India in such issues,firstly there is no precedent of attending Indian Prime Ministers oath by any Pakistani head of the state or head of the Government in the past, Secondly the host is not other than Mr.Moodi,who is much hatted in Muslims as he is considered the prime culprit of Muslim massacre in Gujarat under his government.

In Pakistan there are split opinion on this specific issue. But one thing is final that Mr,Sharief will face  criticism in both situations. If he choose not to going, the liberal factions of the country will not like that and all those who think Pakistan should build good relation with India will defiantly disappointed and if he (PM) decide to attend the ceremony, the conservative faction will take PM on task and declared that Nawaz Sharief sold the blood of thousands of Muslims in Gujarat and of course in Kashmir.

On other hand every body know the thinking of Mian Nawaz Sharief, he is in favor of building good relation with India and resolve conflicts between the two neighboring countries,so on his account he definitely want to shake hand with newly elected Govt of Modi.Mr, Sharief will also keep in mind the viewpoint of Pakistani Military establishment,that might play a major role to decide this invitation.

To take view a Military person on that, I contacted Lt Gen(R) Talat Masood , Mr masood categorically has view that Mr.Sharief must attend the ceremony, "There is no loss by going there and may be Pakistan will be single out by India or other powerful players of the world by not honoring this invitation", he said.Mr Masood on a view that this is a good chance to show a positive gesture of sincerity that Pakistan is willing to resolve issues with India".

India played smartly and no doubt a very smart move needed from Pakistan as well.I have a view on this that Mr.prime Minister must go to India to show his will to keep good relations with India and should not stay there at night and not even needed to meet Modi One on One.This could be a smarter one.
